Handmade card: “my” design series

Not many people know I studied photography at the university. Back in the day, it was the darkroom where I hung out a lot. It was the darkness and tranquility that trained my senses to see. I see with my nose, my ears, and my hands. In my photography, there are a lot of portraits and close-ups, and textures. After school, I worked as a layout designer in a “photoshop”. We worked with the local companies, especially in the tourist industry. I remember working with KFC.

My journey as an artist is deeply connected to photography and design. Come check out “my”design series.

Salute to the good part 🥹. I finished another creative journey at Fulton Center in the last four months. I am so grateful for the opportunity to have space and time to create new artwork for sustainable art . The work is inspired by the urban location of lower Manhattan and the harmony in spring. The art exhibition Urban Harmony in Spring is exhibiting inside the subway station at Fulton Center. After this artist-in-residence, a new chapter is waiting for me. Art Exhibition at The Fulton Center

Art Exhibition at The Fulton Center

The art exhibition Resiliency is on view at The Fulton Center. I am honored to be part of the show and to share my art and story. My artwork often captures the feelings of chaos and harmony, a sense of belonging and isolation when living in a city. Just few days before the exhibition open, we experienced flooding in NYC. I am still in shock because my studio is affected by the sudden flooding.  I feel the theme of the exhibition, Resiliency, is speaking to me right now!! So, I will put my painting on hold for few weeks when dealing with the aftermath. However, I won’t be defeated. I Will resume my work very soon. In the meantime, come see my cardboard paintings at The Fulton Center!

Eco-Art

Sustainable eco handmade soft sculpture made with organic cotton canvas and natural cotton fill.

I love drawing nature because it makes me feel close to the universe. I sketched the floral drawing with non-toxic ink on the organic cotton canvas. The organic cotton comes from non-genetically modified plants that are grown without the use of synthetic chemicals, therefore reduce environmental impact.
